There’s a New Salem Album Out Today

With little fanfare and even less warning, the first Salem album in nearly six years has materialized. Clocking in at nearly two hours and 31 tracks, Red Dragon gathers rare archival recordings that never got an official release alongside some new songs. At least one of those, the record’s title track, seems to feature vocals from Heather Marlatt, a founding member of Salem who left the group—currently a duo of Jack Donoghue and John Holland—prior to the release of their last LP, 2020’s Fires in Heaven. Scroll down to listen to Red Dragon.
