Sense the Thrill of Speed with Mayla GT

Prepare to be captivated as Mayla unveils the extraordinary Mayla GT at Boot Düsseldorf from 20 to 28 January 2024. This shimmering debut signals a new chapter in luxury sports boats, seamlessly blending open-water prowess with unparalleled comfort and sophistication for the premier designer, manufacturer, and distributor of exceptional yachts company.

A modern tribute to the speed boats of the ’70s and ’80s, Mayla GT’s sleek lines reflect its high-performance capabilities. Unlike many competitor boats that shoehorn as much volume and accommodation as possible within a given length, Mayla GT boasts a long, elegant outline, more reminiscent of a racing powerboat than a distance cruiser.

Mayla GT speed boatA deep-V monohull with twin transversal steps and patented Petestep® deflectors ensures optimal hydrodynamic efficiency. More commonly seen in offshore racing powerboats, transversal steps introduce bubbles of air under the hull, meaning higher top speeds can be reached for the same power. The Petestep® deflectors reorient the spray beneath the hull, generating additional lift, a softer, quieter ride, and a significant increase in fuel efficiency. Crafted entirely in carbon fiber prepreg, this superboat achieves a unique fusion of lightness, strength, and stiffness, adhering to automotive industry quality standards with millimeter-level precision.

The Mayla GTS variant, which is premiering at the Düsseldorf boat show, features twin Ilmor 6.2l V8 supercharged engines, each delivering 650hp, bringing the boat to an exceptional weight-to-power ratio of 3.5 kg/hp and delivering a top speed over 70 knots. Mayla will offer a wide choice of propulsion options, including gasoline engines up to 3100hp, diesel engines up to 1700hp, and a hybrid electric system of up to 2100hp. To withstand the loadings of such a high-performance boat, the structure was developed by the renowned Dutch engineering office, Solico to withstand speeds in the 100 knots range.

The general specification of the boat makes for a telling read as far as its ethos is concerned. Although 44ft (13.5m) long, it weighs only 4.5 tons. Designed to accommodate eight passengers, it does so in extreme luxury for a boat capable of such high-performance levels. Mayla GT features a luxurious cabin with a double bed, WC, separate shower, Alcantara® seating, wardrobe, vanity area, TV screens, and a premium audio system. The open cockpit offers sliding sun loungers, shock-dampening driver’s seats, a foldaway table, and ample storage. A spacious garage at the stern allows for jet ski storage, featuring an electric door that transforms into a beach club platform at water level. Once arrives at its destination, a wet bar, a barbecue, underwater lights, and premium sound ensure the cockpit provides extensive options for party time.

Optional extras include air conditioning and a gyroscopic ride stabilizer to prevent the boat from rolling in choppy conditions.
