Sit-Down with Pop Artist Juliana Hale

How are you feeling about this year’s music you’ve put out so far?

I feel great! I think, even if it didn’t get a million streams, all of the songs showed a different side of me and showed my range.

The year is coming to an end! What are you doing in these last few months musically?

My newest single “Dollhouse” feat Wande is out November 12th! So I will just be focused on that and the dance music video.

What are you working on right now in the studio?

A handful of new songs! My favorite is this pop-punk song that has performed really well live. The other one I’m most excited about is an ambient song about the end of the world.

What are your studio sessions looking like these days?

Now that Covid has died down a little, in-person sessions are back. Recently, I’ve been bringing pretty fleshed-out ideas to producers and taking them from there. I love to start from scratch, but I have some ideas I absolutely love.

Is it just you when you go to record or do you work with others?

I write alone a lot, but I record with a producer!

Who is the person that you want to work with next whether it’s putting them on a track or just producing?

Blackbear

How are you customizing your sound in your next tracks?

I’m really trying to take the music to the next level, so I’ve been paying more attention to detail. I am working to really refine my unique sound.

How do you make sure that you’re customizing your overall vision for your music?

I’ve been exploring a lot of different sounds, and I am starting to find the signatures I want to keep in my sound. I want to find the perfect blend of electronic and organic sounds.

What is your overall vision for yourself!?

I want my music to reach as many people as possible and make a difference.

How are you leading with love with your music?

Whenever I post or connect with fans, my goal is to always spread love and kindness. I try to have a positive spin to my songs and inspire people by either relating to them or uplifting them.
