Benetti Delivers M/Y “Triumph”- a 65-Meter Full Custom Yacht

Benetti has been a proud flagbearer of luxury superyachts since 1873. The Italian shipyard has been home to some of the most magnificent and majestic superyachts and will continue to create masterpieces that redefine the definition of luxury and grandiosity. The latest superyacht to leave the shipyard is the 65.40 meters M/Y “Triumph”, with Manuele Thiella, CEO of Royal Yacht International, an International luxury yacht advisor company headquartered in Monte Carlo and London, representing the buyer. Christos Ramnialis of Benetti Yachts assisted in the negotiations from an early stage of the deal.

The fully custom yacht is one of the most significant projects for Benetti – featuring six decks, where its predecessors had only five decks. Delivered this month, she features a steel displacement hull and aluminum superstructure. Shinning bright in the classic white, the external lines of M/Y Triumph are a marvelous design penned by Giorgio M. Cassetta in collaboration with Benetti’s in-house design team and Pierluigi Ausonio for its naval architecture. The designer ingeniously uses large curved windows to balance the yacht’s impressive presence.

The beach area of the Lower Deck proposes an area of about 70 square meters with immediate access to the sea. The mega yacht can host twelve people in six expansive double cabins, while the upper deck welcomes aft outdoor spaces outfitted with custom furniture. The owner’s apartment, set over a sprawling 130 square meter area, takes full advantage of the deck’s spaciousness and stunning views. The sleeping area amidships includes four double cabins for an additional eight guests. Also on this deck, but in a separate room to guarantee guest privacy, is the modern galley, and at the bow, there are accommodations for 15 crew members in 10 cabins.

The Sun Deck sits on the sixth deck, which features an elegant Jacuzzi, comfortable seating, and a table for ten that can be used even while navigating, thanks to ample wind sheltering. The aft cockpit on the Main Deck is an outdoor spot, sheltered yet in contact with the environment, perfect for conversation and relaxation at any time of day. Amidships, the large and bright living area, consisting of a dining and relaxation space, is complete with every comfort.

For the interiors, Triumph has an elegant mix of classic and contemporary. Green & Mingarelli Design arranged the lavish interiors and many furnishing details, closely following the direction of the Benetti Interior Style Department. All the artwork onboard is created by renowned British photographer David Yarrow. The 1,050 GT Triumph is powered by a pair of MTU 12V 4000 M53 engines for a maximum speed of 16.5 knots and a cruising speed of 15 knots. The range at 12 knots is 4,700 miles. The mega yacht is also equipped with three CATERPILLAR C7.1 invertors to suffice the electricity requirement.

In comparison to its peers, the Benetti Triumph truly triumphs in all aspects.
