See Maren Morris and Miley Cyrus Cover ‘Dancin Queen’ for Pride Concert

Maren Morris and Miley Cyrus team up as a pair of country-pop queens for Cyrus’ upcoming concert special, and fans can get a sneak peak of their “Dancing Queen” performance.

Part of the Miley Cyrus Presents Stand By You concert premiering on Peacock Friday (June 25), the short clip captures the flashy fun of a true pride project, aimed at supporting the LGBTQ+ community.

Filmed at the famous Ryman Auditorium with a crowd full of vaccinated fans, the show will air as a one-hour music event full of Nashville-centric LGBTQ+ allies. Cyrus leads the glittery night with guests like Little Big TownBrothers OsborneOrville Peck and Mickey Guyton, while her performance with Morris gives a colorful look at what to expect. Basically, it’s a sing along dance party thrown by Music City’s top talent.

Covering ABBA’s iconic party starter, “Dancing Queen,” the duo put on a vocal masterclass in a one-minute preview clip, rocking the Ryman in a spectacle of fashion and supportive vibes.

“This feels like a peaceful protest,” Cyrus wrote of the event on social media. “There are laws endangering the lgbtq+ community all around the country and even here in my home state – We can’t stop and we won’t stop doing everything in our power to create the changes we want to see not just here but AROUND THE WORLD! You’ve gotta start somewhere! So I’ve begun in Nashville, TN…”

Miley Cyrus Presents Stand By You was filmed at the Ryman on June 8, and will premiere on Peacock Friday (June 25) at 5 p.m. PT / 8 p.m. ET. Other songs performed include Cyrus’ “Party In the U.S.A.” and “The Climb,” as well as covers of Cher, Cyndi Lauper, Madonna and more.
