Old Dominion Plans The Band Behind the Curtain Tour

Old Dominion fans have been asking – when will they return to the road? Well, the group has an answer. Soon! The band has revealed plans for their headlining A Evening With Old Dominion: The Band Behind the Curtain tour, kicking off May 27 in Durant, Oklahoma.

“You’ve wondered and you’ve waited patiently. We couldn’t be more excited to finally announce our Band Behind the Curtain shows for 2021. Most shows onsale May 14,” they shared on Instagram with a list of dates.

The trek may be a good chance for fans to get a preview of what band members Matthew Ramsey, Trevor Rosen, Whit Sellers, Geoff Sprung, and Brad Tursi have been working on during the coronavirus pandemic. The group didn’t set out to write and record a new album quite yet, but the time off the road let them to some new inspirations.

“We’ve got a lot of new music that’s gonna be coming out very soon,” said front man Matthew Ramsey while backstage at the 2021 ACM Awards. He shared that the group had traveled out to North Carolina and came back with a collection of new songs.

“We definitely saw an opportunity to do something different,” said Ramsey previously. “We made an album that we definitely couldn’t have made here in Nashville.”
