Ari Fletcher Has Words For A Commenter Who Had A Problem With Her Mentioning She Was Puerto Rican In A Photo

On Tuesday, Ari Fletcher had a message for a commenter who had something to say about her mentioning she was Puerto Rican, while taking a photo.

In a photo posted to Twitter, Ari captured the picture, “Butter Pecan, Puerto Rican.” What the person said to her is unknown because the tweet was deleted, but it can be assumed that the person didn’t agree with what Ari posted.

Ari responded and said, “Stfu. I am very proud to be Puerto Rican, I don’t have to just shed light on ONE ethnicity to make you feel good,” she stated. Ari continued, “Stop using that black card b***h it don’t phase me.”

Many people had an opinion about the exchange, and the reactions varied.

One person stated, “She always said she was puerto rican. It’s even on her old youtube videos y’all hate her for no reason.”

Another person said, “Allow people to be mixed. Black. White. Whatever. We don’t choose what we are. Love yourself. Worry about yourself!”

Speaking on the difference between race, ethnicity, and nationality, a few other people shared their opinions. “Y’all too old not to know the difference between RACE and Ethnicity.”

“Puerto Rican is a nationality not an ethnicity,” another person said.

Most recently, Ari gave a fan $200 towards a concert ticket. The fan shared her CashApp with Ari along with the message, “Can you bless me? I just wanna buy my rolling loud tickets @AriTheDon please please pleaseeee.”

Ari responded to the girl, asking how much the tickets were and the fan replied that she estimated them to be a whopping $400.

“Damn, you better watch that s**t on TV,” Ari responded to the girl. But the story didn’t end in heartbreak after all.

Ari shared that she ended up giving the girl half of what she asked, $200, but not without hitting her with a mother’s classic line.

“Make it enough. Have fun!” Ari said.
