Michael Rapaport Says He Feels Bad About Kevin Durant Beef After KD Fined $50K By NBA (Video)

Michael Rapaport feels the beef between him and Brooklyn Nets’ Kevin Durant has gone too far after KD was fined $50,000 for language he used in messages sent to Rapaport.

Despite the fact that Rapaport was the one who shared the nasty exchanges between them, it now appears he is feeling some remorse for his actions due to the consequences his foe has faced.

“The situation with Durant has gotten out of hand,” Rapaport began his video message. “I feel bad about it. I feel bad about my involvement in the situation. I feel bad that it’s gotten this far.”

To catch some of y’all up to speed, earlier this week, Rapaport shared a series of DMs between him and KD and alleged that Kevin had repeatedly threatened him and talked about Rapaport’s wife.

What some thought may have been an April Fools’ Joke was apparently a real beef that had been brewing since 2019, according to Rapaport. After the messages were made public, the NBA announced Friday that KD would be fined $50,000 for using “offensive and derogatory language on social media.”

You can check out the messages below:

Rapaport explained in his video that even though things may have started out cool with him and KD, he didn’t consider him a friend and his threats were uncalled for.

“I don’t consider him a friend, the way he was talking to me is not like a person who was a friend,” Rapaport said. “I don’t speak to friends like that.”

Quite a few people on social media criticized Rapaport for publicly calling out KD then being disappointed with the consequences. Some even called him a male “Karen.”

Maybe these two will stay clear from each other moving forward, but we’ll keep you posted.
