R. Kelly’s Associate Pleads Guilty To Attempting To Bribe Witness Not To Testify (Update)

According to reports, R. Kelly’s associate pleaded guilty Tuesday to bribery charges.

Richard Arline Jr. admitted that he offered ‘Jane Doe’ hundreds of thousands of dollars not to testify, Yahoo reports.

During the virtual court hearing in Brooklyn federal court, Arline stated, “Me and another person offered Jane Doe money for her to not go forward with her complaint or testimony against Robert Kelly.” He also added, “I knew what I did was wrong,” Page Six reports.

Airline faces up to 15 years in prison.

As previously reported, Donnell Russell and Michael Williams were also charged alongside Richard Arline, Jr.

Russell and Arline are friends of R.Kelly and Williams is related to the singer’s former publicist, according to prosecutors.

As you may know, R.Kelly was arrested in July of 2019 and is currently still jailed. He faces sexual abuse charges of minors both in Chicago and in Brooklyn.
