Morgan Wallen is seeking forgiveness for another incident after video of the singer was released of him using a racial slur. According to video obtained by TMZ, the singer is caught using the “N-word.” The video was captured by an upset neighbor.
According to the publication, the clip allegedly shows Wallen returning home on Sunday night (1/31) with a group of friends. TMZ reports that the neighbor began recording due to the group being loud and rambunctious outside of the home. The group was so rowdy that another neighbor’s security camera began recording.
In the video, Wallen is seen stumbling around before he begins a profanity laced rant, during which he uses the “N-word.”
After the video became public, the Tennessee native issued a statement directly to TMZ. “I’m embarrassed and sorry. I used an unacceptable and inappropriate racial slur that I wish I could take back,” Wallen said. “There are no excuses to use this type of language, ever. I want to sincerely apologize for using the word. I promise to do better.”
The singer has garnered a lot of negative attention the last year. In the spring of 2020, he was arrested during a rowdy night out on Nashville’s famous Broadway. He was later pulled from a performance slot on Saturday Night Live after he was caught on video partying in Alabama and not adhering to social distancing guidelines.
