‘The Voice’ Season 20 Gets Premiere Date, Dan + Shay Join as Advisors

NBC’s The Voice announced some big news at the start of February. The hit show will return for its 20th season on March 1, 2021. Joining the hunt for America’s next big breakout start will be coaches Blake Shelton, Kelly Clarkson, John Legend and Nick Jonas.

The network also unveiled this season’s team advisors with a collection of photos to Instagram. Joining Shelton’s team with helpful advice is country breakout duo Dan + Shay. Brandy will join Team Legend, Luis Fonsi aids Team Kelly and Darren Criss will assist Team Jonas.

In November, it was revealed that Gwen Stefani would not return after season 19, instead being replaced by by Jonas. The pop star’s return marks his second time on the show, after making his debut on season 18. The show is known for switching out its celebrity panel and has featured Adam Levine, CeeLo Green, Christina Aguilera, Miley Cyrus, Jennifer Hudson, Usher, among others.

Season 20 also commemorates a special one for the hit reality singing competition show – it marks the tenth anniversary of The Voice.

Season 20 of NBC’s The Voice will kick off on NBC beginning Monday, March 1.
