Runaway June’s Jennifer Wayne Gets Engaged to Boyfriend Austin Moody

We can hear the bells for Runaway June’s Jennifer Wayne as she is officially engaged to her boyfriend, Austin Moody.

Wayne announced the big news to fans via Instagram on Wednesday (December 30), showing off her new rock alongside her beau. Not only do the couple get to celebrate their engagement together, but they are also commemorating Moody’s birthday before the year’s end.

“Happy birthday to the man I get to spend the rest of my life with!!! I love you @theaustinmoody . Can’t wait to celebrate the day with you…,” Wayne captioned her Instagram photo collection of the relationship.

Moody gave his followers a look at the special moment, which took place at Ocean Way Studios on Music Row in Nashville. The two toasted to the parking lot proposal with a blue Solo cup cheers.

“Loving @jenniferwayne has been the best part of my 2020 and her saying YES is the best Birthday gift I could ever receive. Thanks for all the Bday wishes y’all! Moody loves ya,” Moody wrote sweetly.

Bandmate Natalie Stovall was in on the whole surprise, asking Wayne to meet her at the studio to record something on Monday afternoon (December 28). Moody popped the question, in which Wayne gave a big ‘yes’ before FaceTiming bandmate Naomi Cooke.

According to People, Wayne’s ring was custom made by Studio Dobrila. It’s a special piece for the couple as it features little diamonds that were once owned by Moody’s grandmother.

Wayne isn’t the only member of Runaway June to land a ring this year as Cooke got engaged to Martin Johnson.

Moody and Wayne were first seen on each other’s Instagram back in October of 2020, and have documented some pretty places and fun dates they’ve shared since.

No word on when the couple plan on tying the knot.
