Neilish was in the clear lead going into Final Jeopardy with $13,000, more than twice the other two competitors so his win was assured. He wagered $1,000, which he lost, but still won with $12,000. This is particularly impressive given that he was in the negative after the first round.

Jay had the right response, but only wagered $401 of his $5,000, landing him in second place with $5,401. Dave had slightly more than Jay heading into Final Jeopardy with $5,400, but couldn’t come up with the right answer. He wagered a full $5,000, putting him third place with $400.
