One of the important characters in One Piece is Monkey D. Dragon. He is the pillar for the Final Saga as it progresses. As the leader of the Revolutionary Army, audiences are aware that he is the center of the storm. The goal of his organization is to liberate the world. He is listed among some of the most powerful characters in the series. However, this brings us to question whether the source behind his powers is the Devil Fruit or not.

Fans have already seen the potent Haki that Dragon possesses. However, the source of his powers is much more than just that. The author of the manga, Oda has already teased his Devil Fruit on more occasions than once.

There is a high probability that Dragon is a Devil Fruit user. One Piece creator Eiichiro Oda, has teased this a few times.

Dragon’s character is first introduced in chapter 100 of the manga. He is seen controlling the weather with great precision. He helped Luffy and the Straw Hat Pirates to escape from Loguetown by stirring a colossal storm. This brief scene supports the idea that Dragon possesses Devil Fruit abilities.

Haki can somehow alter or affect the physical state of clouds. But, it can never manipulate them the way Dragon did. Someone with Haki can’t alter the weather or cause precise lightning strikes from the skies.

When the Great Terminal burned at the Goa Kingdom, Dragon created a path for the ship by blowing the fire away. The audience saw him generating a gust of wind to do that. This sequence hints at the dragon having an ability that isn’t natural for a human to possess.

Hence, it’ll be safe to conclude that Dragon has a Devil Fruit that grants him the ability to manipulate weather or has some sort of powers.
