Last Chance U: Basketball is of course a spin-off of Last Chance U, the Emmy-winning show (based on a GQ story) about the junior college football circuit home to players looking for a second chance at stardom. The hoops spinoff closely follows an almost entirely new Huskies roster, embedding deeply with a group of gifted basketball players who band together to win on the court and triumph off of it. With the team battling everything from mental health issues to financial insecurity, the players offer full access into their lives—a firsthand look at the emotional, vulnerable, and often painful journey of their community college basketball season.
Season 2 of Last Chance U: Basketball premieres on Netflix on December 13.
