Mercedes Benz Championship Edition EQ
Living in a hilly area, the Mercedes-Benz Championship Edition EQ is one of the most luxe pedal-assist electric bicycles on the market. What makes this eBike different than others is its dual motors and all-wheel drive delivering an impressive 750W of power and 130 Nm of torque. Pedal assist technology senses the torque or power input of the rider and matches it with electric motor assistance. As the rider pedals harder, the power-assist performs faster.
The solid matte black aluminum frame weighs 64 pounds. Its suspension fork offers a smooth ride and absorbs many bumps and imperfections. The larger wheels and semi-slick larger Maxxis Hookworm tires offer a tough bead-to-bead tread design that provides traction and durability on all different types of roads. It’s ideal for groomed dirt trails, pavement and asphalt and helps to get the power down.
There is no metal chain, but a carbon drive belt drivetrain that is maintenance free for up to 20,000 miles. This longer lifespan also offers no oil streaks on your legs or pants.
It’s one of the safest eBikes to drive as the hydraulic disc brakes stop well in both wet and dry conditions.
