Last year, families around the country opted to host smaller Thanksgiving gatherings due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. This year, however, many people, including John and TJ Osborne of Brothers Osborne, will be reunited for an old-fashioned Thanksgiving holiday packed with plenty of food and family. The CMA Duo of the Year winners recently shared their Thanksgiving holiday plans.
“For this Thanksgiving, it’s gonna be such a good time,” the duo shared. “Last year, we had a very scaled-back Thanksgiving. Everyone was worried about the pandemic, and rightfully so, but for this Thanksgiving, we’re coming back. We’re back with family. We’re all vaccinated. We’re gonna be hugging on each other, loving on each other and just celebrating the world coming back to somewhat normal.”
When the duo say that their whole family will be together, they mean it. Their mother has been living near them in Music City for a length of time, but now their dad has also moved closer, so he will be able to join in on the festivities.
“Our mom and dad, our mom’s been here for a while, and our dad and his girlfriend, Cindy, have officially moved down here, and we’re going to have the whole family together,” they said. “It’s gonna be beautiful. I can’t wait.”
In addition to planning their family Thanksgiving, Brothers Osborne have been busy on their We’re Not For Everyone tour with Travis Denning and Tenille Townes, the fall segment of which wrapped November 20 in Moon Township, PA. The tour is slated to get back on the road in April 2022.
