Blanco Brown pledges allegiance to a down home lifestyle in his new TrailerTrap anthem, “Nobody’s More Country.” And its official video welcomes him back to that lifestyle for good.
Directed by Taylor Kelly and marking Brown’s first video since the motorcycle accident that nearly claimed his life, the clip finds him proclaiming his love for all things country, from the slowed-down pace of life to the beauty of the natural landscape, and of course cut-off daisy dukes. Riding a tractor, eating Fritos on a farm and even arriving on a motorcycle, the clip showcases the cultural mix Brown is working to support, with hip-hop dancers taking over a barnyard corral and banjos joining electronic beats, all under a smiling, classic-singalong hook.
Brown suffered head-on collision while riding a motorcycle in September of 2020, which resulted in a weeks-long ICU stay and required several 12-hour surgeries before the star could then re-learn to walk. But the “Nobody’s More Country” video show his always-positive spirit.
“Being that this is my first video since I’ve been back, it was important for me to show myself back on an Indian Motorcycle and that it ain’t about getting knocked down, it’s about getting back up,” Brown says. “Beyond that, I just wanted to create a music video that was joyous, made people smile and let people know I am OKAY. After such a rough year, I learned you just can’t take everything too seriously. Drink some lemonade!”
“I been back and forth from here to Georgia / Carolina to California / Cross the hills of middle Tennessee / I been mountain high in Colorado / Seen some things / But one thing I know / No one loves the country more than me,” goes the chorus.
“Nobody’s More Country” was written by Brown, Tyler Hubbard (of Florida Georgia Line), Jordan Schmidt and Quintin Amey, and now marks the first taste of a new musical chapter from Brown. It follows up the viral success of his breakout TrailerTrap hit, “The Git Up,” a danceable anthem which is now 11X Platinum across three countries.
