Johnny Dailey Captures the Moments That Matter in ’24’ Video Premiere

Rising country talent Johnny Dailey captures husband’s undying devotion in his new track, “24,” and for its official music video, he gives that epic theme a personal backdrop.

Premiering on Sounds Like Nashville today (October 21), the stunning clip mixes beautiful beachside imagery with home movies of Dailey’s family, helping connect the inspiring beauty of the natural world to the wonder of true love. The project was filmed in Dailey’s former home state of South Carolina and filmed by the Thomas Brothers, and the country newcomer says it helps convey his tenderhearted romantic ballad’s thoughtful premise. With a timeless vocal and a clean-and-classy sound, the tune reminds listeners time is fleeting — so you should never take moments with the ones you love for granted.

“I couldn’t be more excited about having the music video for ’24’ out,” Dailey tells SLN. “While living in Charleston, I met the Thomas brothers and we immediately connected on music. We always dreamed of working together on a project so it’s really cool to release this video we created together. We filmed the video on Folly Beach and it felt like the perfect vibe for this song. Adding in the videos of my wife, Michelle, and me really shows where my mind was at while writing this song. Can’t wait for everyone to see what we came up with!”

“I’d pull you closer, hold you tighter / Kiss you slow while the world’s on fire / No time wasting, just me making ‘/ Good on forever ’til my final hour / Will you, take mine / Cuz it’s all yours / If I, only had one more / I’d give you my last 24,” goes the devoted chorus.

“24” came out on October 1, and it followed the release of another track from Johnny Dailey — one which shows a completely different side of his artistry, the rollicking “Burns Like Whiskey.”

Both tracks are likely just the beginning for the fresh face, who grew up in Alabama and Charleston, South Carolina, before making the move to Nashville in 2018. Since then he’s attracted some big time supporters, and even hit the road with Old Dominion on a few select tour dates this summer.
