26 years ago, in 1995, Tammy Wynette was hospitalized after losing her voice. Just three years later (1998), in April, she passed away. Dolly Parton talked about the song she wrote with Tammy and finished the day of her memorial service in Nashville.

34 years ago this week in 1987, Dan Smyers was born. One half of the Grammy-winning duo Dan + Shay, Dan talked to us just last week (2021) about his birthday this year.
