Boyz II Men’s Wanya Morris Shades Kandi Burruss For Saying They Were Horrible To Work With: ‘She’s Just Been Doing Reunions With Xscape’ (Video)

The tea may be vintage but it’s definitely hot! Following a recent interview that Kandi Burruss did with Eddie Levert Sr., in which the noteworthy songwriter mentioned that Boyz II Men was among the most difficult acts to work with, the group’s lead Wanya Morris is firing back and he’s throwing massive shade!

During Kandi’s live with Eddie, Kandi admitted she had a bad experience in the studio with Boyz II Men and the music wasn’t the issue.

“We fell out after that,” Kandi said after Eddie asked if it was their attitudes. “I don’t think I’ve ever been disrespected like that before in the studio in my life. It was crazy, really. But um, you know at the end of the day, you know, that was a long time ago…clearly we’ve moved past that.”

For the most part, Kandi appeared to be honest but kept it cute.

Meanwhile, Wanya was on Instagram Live when he got word of Kandi’s interview and didn’t seem too happy that he was the topic of their conversation.

He decided to break down the story Kandi was referring to, saying their beef stemmed from a song they were working on together back in the 90s.

According to Wanya, there was an issue regarding credit and pay.

“We made a little bit of a stink,” Wanya admitted. “That’s not how we work. From that point, it became harder to work with her.”

Then Wanya proceeded with the shade, and chile, he threw a whole tree.

“I didn’t know we were the worst to work with, but I mean, after TLC and Boyz II Men and a couple of other people, she hasn’t worked since, right? Like music wise? She’s just been doing like reunions with Xscape.”
