Omeretta And Akbar V Drop Freestyles To Lil’ Baby’s Song ‘On Me’ (Video)

They always say closed mouths don’t get fed, so take it when you see an opportunity! When it comes to shooting your shot on the Internet, it’s never a bad thing. Earlier this month, Lil’ Baby tweeted about his popular song “On Me.” He wrote, “On Me” Remix with a female artist,” with the thinking face emoji. Without hesitation, Atlanta rapper Omeretta responded to Baby by tweeting, “ If it ain’t me, keep it.”

Omeretta had been laying low on social media and not making much noise about the remix until today. The “Who Harder” rapper put out her freestyle to “On Me” and had everyone singing her praises, and for the people who had never heard of her, they were begging for her name to be tagged in the post. Reginae Carter stepped into The Shade Room to comment on Omeretta’s freestyle. She commented, “She been doing this though,” adding several fire emojis to her comment.

Supa Cent also stepped into The Shade Room and commented on the freestyle, saying, “She definitely slept on!! I don’t see why they overlooking her,” also leaving a few fire emojis to the comment. Omeretta seemed to have opened up the conversation about the song because the next person to drop a freestyle was the self-proclaimed “Queen Of Atlanta” Akbar V. She uploaded her video on Instagram and tagged us. The caption stated, “Nawl @theshaderoom I want in the challenge too.”

Akbar def held her own and came through with the heat, so in true fashion, we had to ask the Roomies which rapper’s freestyle was better?! One commented, “I felt like Akbar went harder. I’ve heard better from Omeretta.” Akbar even stepped in and commented, “One thing for sure, Me and mines ate @omeretta.”

Hopefully, after this, Omeretta is one step closer to grabbing the attention of Lil’ Baby.
