How Much Money Does The Voice Winner Get? Everything to Know About Adam David’s Victory

The Voice truly is the chance of a lifetime.

That’s something Adam David now knows after winning season 27 of the NBC singing competition series.

After weeks of competing on Team Michael Bublé, the rock-and-blues artist came out on top during the May 20 season finale, beating out Team John Legend‘s Renzo, Team Adam Levine‘s Lucia Flores-Wiseman, Team Kelsea Ballerini‘s Jaelen Johnston and fellow Team Bublé hopeful Jadyn Cree.

So, what does the 35-year-old guitarist from Fort Lauderdale, Fla. earn for being voted America’s next music superstar? Plain and simple, a recording contract with Universal Music Group.

But since the show premiered in 2011, there have also been reports that winners receive a massive cash prize of up to $100,000, though NBC has never confirmed the amount.

However, season 15 winner Chevel Shepherd seemingly confirmed the mega paycheck after taking home the title in 2018.

Asked how she’d be spending her paycheck, Shepard—just 16 at the time—told People, “Maybe a car. We had to postpone getting my permit because of The Voice so when we get back [home], I have to get it.”
