Ryan Reynolds couldn’t imagine a better guest to bring to The View.
The Deadpool joined his mom Tammy Reynolds, a major fan of the daytime talk show, to sit beside him during a taping.
“You never know what’s going on here at The View,” cohost Whoopi Goldberg said on the June 10 episode while peering into the audience. “Sometimes you look up and you go, this is really great! And then you look up and go, oh, snap, there’s Ryan Reynolds!”
And Ryan soon revealed his appearance wasn’t a bit.
“My mom is here visiting her grandkids,” he explained after the visibly shocked Whoopi wondered what he was doing in the audience. “And yesterday she said, ‘It’s my dream to go to The View.'”
So the 47-year-old—who shares daughters James, 9, Inez, 7, Betty, 4, and a 15-month-old whose name has not yet been shared with wife Blake Lively—called in a favor.
