Who’s had a better year than Travis Kelce? Another Super Bowl ring, dating arguably the most popular musician on the planet in Taylor Swift and a new contract extension, life ain’t too bad for the Kansas City Chiefs superstar tight end.
With all of the victories, added exposure and soaring star power, Killa Trav also took his Kelce Jam festival to another level in its second rendition.
This weekend saw Lil Wayne, 2 Chainz and Diplo headlining Kelce Jam 2024 presented by Jim Beam about a half-hour outside Kansas City at the Azura Amphitheater.
Thousands entered through the gates rocking outfits celebrating Kelce and their beloved Chiefs while some opted to don another shade of red in support Swift, who was performing across the globe in Sweden on Saturday night (May 18) as part of her Eras Tour.
“Insane,” Kelce tells Billboard when putting the euphoria of his last year into words, but he’s got no plans to stop pushing either. “And I’m gonna try to top it this year.”
From the second Travis steps onto the festival grounds in the late afternoon, it’s all eyes on him. He turns into a superhero with a child-like exuberance that somehow never drains throughout the night with an energy level at 34 that could run circles around most college students.
Kelce has become of the NFL’s biggest stars and the rare non-quarterback that’s able to transcend pop-culture in a way that few before him have.
From the lively performances to the eclectic outfits and a brief red carpet chat with the three-time Super Bowl champion, here are the best moments from Kelce Jam 2024. Watch the live stream here.

Could Taylor Swift Eventually Headline Kelce Jam?
All of the Swifties in attendance were hoping for an appearance from Taylor Swift when Kelce Jam was initially announced, but they quickly discovered she’d be in Sweden on tour. When asked about the possibility of the pop icon ever headlining Kelce Jam, Travis had a laugh and admitted they would need a significantly bigger venue than the current amphitheater.
“I don’t know, man. That would be crazy. We’d have to go to a stadium,” he tells Billboard. “I don’t think the amphitheater that we’re in right now can hold that.”

Travis Kelce’s Chiefs Teammate Wins Wing-Eating Contest
With Wingstop as one of the festival sponsors, it was only right that they had a wing eating contest. In the mold of a pros vs. average joe’s, Travis Kelce’s Chiefs teammate o-lineman Trey Smith faced off against a much skinnier festival-goer. They went head-to-head to put down as many wings as possible in 90 seconds, and the two-time Super Bowl champion finished nine wings to his opponent’s five to win the trophy.

Chiefs Fans Love Travis Kelce & Their Wardrobe Choices Proved It
Kansas City Chiefs fans love their team, and as they should with three Super Bowl championships in the last five years. Only six franchises have more than that in their entire existence. With generational talents like Travis Kelce and quarterback Patrick Mahomes leading the charge, Chiefs fever is running heavy throughout Missouri and Kansas.
Fans lined up in droves before the Kelce Jam gates opened while tailgating in the parking lot like it was Arrowhead Stadium. Many brought out their Kelce jerseys and eccentric Chiefs gear while some even rocked T-Swift merch.

Diplo Is the Life of the Party
Diplo provided a change-of-pace compared to the rap phenoms of 2 Chainz and Lil Wayne. The dance music lovers took centerstage for the Grammy Award-winning DJ as he turned up the crowd with electronic mixes of J Kwon’s “Tipsy” with Shaboozey’s “A Bar Song.” Kelce joined him on stage and Diplo even changed into a No. 87 Chiefs jersey mid-set.

2 Chainz Welcomes Patrick Mahomes in Front of Chiefs Kingdom
Patrick Mahomes could run for mayor of Kansas City and easily win. 2 Chainz served as the first of the three main event billings at Kelce Jam and brought out the MVP quarterback in front of Chiefs Kingdom while finishing off his set with his “Birthday Song” anthem. Mahomes’ birthday isn’t until September, but when you’ve won back-to-back Super Bowls, every day is a celebration.

Lil Wayne Performs With 2 Chainz & Travis Kelce Brings the Vince Lombardi Trophy Out
After spiking the Vince Lombardi Trophy at last year’s Kelce Jam, Travis Kelce made sure to take care of the precious cargo this time around. No. 87 hit the stage once Lil Wayne brought out 2 Chainz for “Duffle Bag Boy” where he unzipped the Super Bowl trophy out of a Louis Vuitton duffle bag and let Tity Boi hold the trophy for the performance — something Chainz’s Atlanta Falcons have never accomplished.
