Lost in Space Collector’s Edition Announced for 1998 Remake

Stephen Hopkins’ 1998 big-screen remake of Lost in Space is receiving a Collector’s Edition Blu-ray from Shout Factory.

Lost in Space Collector’s Edition Flys Onto New Blu-ray

The prospects for continuing life on Earth in the year 2058 are grim. So the Robinsons are launched into space to colonize Alpha Prime, the only other inhabitable planet in the galaxy. But when a stowaway sabotages the mission, the Robinsons find themselves hurtling through uncharted space.

Lost in Space was originally a CBS television show that ran between 1965 and 1968. It has since been remade as a television series too, with Netflix hosting three seasons from 2018 before axing it.

Directed by Stephen Hopkins (Predator 2, A Nightmare on Elm Street 5) Lost in Space stars Gary Oldman (Leon, The Fifth Element), Matt LeBlanc (Friends), Heather Graham (Suitable Flesh, Boogie Nights), William Hurt (Captain America: Civil War, Altered States), Mimi Rogers (Ginger Snaps, Austin Powers), and Lacey Chabert (Mean Girls, Rugrats Go Wild).

There’s no news on what the Lost in Space Collector’s Edition Blu-ray will contain or when it will arrive, but typically with Shout Factory, answers shouldn’t be too far away.
