The completely redesigned ‘S650’ Mustang Dark Horse by Ford boasts a naturally aspirated Gen-4 Coyote 5.0-liter V8. Ford upgrades this beast with GT500 connecting rods and a dual throttle body, resulting in a factory rating of 500 horsepower. The 2024 Dark Horse offers a choice between a Tremec 6-speed manual (3.73 gears) or Ford’s 10-speed automatic (3.55 gearing), both equipped with upgraded multi-piston Brembo performance brakes on all axles.
Harnessing their 32 years of expertise in ‘making fast cars faster’, Hennessey’s experienced technicians fit the Mustang’s V8 powerplant with a high-performance supercharger, a high-flow air induction system, upgraded fuel injectors, and a new fuel pump. Inside the cabin, Hennessey’s distinctive embroidered head restraints adorn the seats, while the quarter panels and rear fascia don Hennessey’s badging and script.
