According to Andy, “there were a lot of new allegations being made” and “there was a lot of new material” from both Teresa and Melissa, who have been at odds since Melissa and husband Joe Gorga declined to attend his sister’s August 2022 wedding to Luis “Louie” Ruelas.
Andy promised RHONJ fans the episodes will be “very compelling television,” calling the reunion—which took nine hours to film—”monumental and upsetting.”
“I guzzled two tequilas after that reunion,” Cohen shared, adding he didn’t fully process the explosiveness until early the next day. “I sent the longest email at about 4:15 in the morning to all the producers with all my thoughts on the reunion, suggestions.”
On the April 11 episode of the Bravo series, Teresa’s involvement in a cheating rumor about Melissa came to light, with Melissa later revealing plans to skip her and Louie’s wedding.
