What will be the driving force of your career in this upcoming New Year?
Focusing a lot on my work as a music technology advocate for the blind so that we have greater access to the same tools as our sighted counterparts in the music and audio industries!
What are the BIG MOVES in 2023 that you want to share?
I have already booked a lot speaking, performing, and recording. The performing is my solo guitar and vocal show but I will be working to get the full band on the road soon as well.
Making more moves in this New Year can be exciting, is there anything that you are nervous about when it comes to your career? How do you get over those nerves and go for what YOU want?
I don’t get nervous about taking chances or anything like that because I know what I can do and what I can’t. I never do something for which I am unprepared.
What chances are you taking in 2023 when it comes to collaboration?
I am thrilled that I am recording a bit with some other blind recording artists and that is exciting. I am also writing with a few new friends, including Ed Roland of Collective Soul!
Name the word of the year for 2023?
Productive!
Setting intentions is so important especially when accomplishing your goals! How do you make sure to keep that heart and drive you have for yourself?
Music is my life, It is really more than that, it is my true spirit and besides being with family and friends the reason I fight so hard to thrive as a blind brain tumor survivor!
I have a number of health challenges, but I work hard every day to overcome those obstacles so I can make music. I am never short on can-do attitude, or love of life, so every day is about moving forward in a positive way both for myself, my clients and others that see my life as inspiration!
What is happening NEXT for you?
I am performing a lot in Fort Wayne , IN, in Los Angeles, where I’ll also be attending the GRAMMY, in Wahsington, DC, Maryland, Austin for SWXW and I’ll even be doing some recording in Dolby Atmos! Find out all about it by visiting my website to check my calendar and sign up for my newsletter.
