Amazon Prime Day—a completely made-up holiday willed into existence by a deeply cursed trillion-dollar corporation—isn’t here yet, but the Prime Day tech deals are already going strong. The best of the bunch are often billed as once-in-a-lifetime opportunities to pick up all the gear you’ve been eyeing at historically low prices, but the reality tends to be a bit hazier. Most of the discounts worth your time are on Amazon’s own goods, including its far-ranging selection of smart speakers. That doesn’t mean you need a burning desire for an Eufy camera to enjoy the savings, though: a ton of other brands that sell tech we recommend unreservedly usually join in on the fun too.
Come July 12th, the full list of deals is bound to be mind-bendingly massive, so if you’re already feeling overwhelmed now’s the time to strike.
