Kellie Pickler Joins SiriusXM’s ‘The Highway’ as Radio Host

Kellie Pickler is back in the spotlight, y’all! After spending the last two years largely out of the spotlight, the country artist and multi-media personality will join SiriusXM’s country channel, The Highway, as their newest on-air talent. Starting February 14, Pickler will host her very own radio show weekdays from 12 to 4pm ET.

SiriusXM The Highway took to social media yesterday (Feb. 3) to make the big announcement. “Did you hear the news? There’s a new host joining the Highway family! Give a warm welcome to Kellie Pickler,” the Nashville-based channel shared.

“I am so excited to join the SiriusXM family as a host on The Highway,” Pickler says in a statement. “This is such a fun and amazing opportunity to really connect with country music fans across North America. I’m looking forward to sharing some of my current favorite songs and artists, along with chatting with some very special guests!”

Pickler is no stranger to hosting gigs. From 2017 to 2019, the country star co-hosted her daytime talk show Pickler & Ben with television personality, Ben Aaron. Featuring lifestyle, cooking, beauty, celebrity, and music segments, the show nabbed a total of five Emmy Nominations over its two-year tenure. On the acting front, Pickler has starred in three Hallmark movies: Christmas at Graceland (2018), Wedding at Graceland (2019), and The Mistletoe Secret (2019).

As a recording artist, Pickler has released four studio albums: the RIAA Gold-certified debut album Small Town Girl (2006), Kellie Pickler (2008), 100 Proof (2012), and The Woman I Am (2013). Her hit singles include “Best Days of Your Life,” “Red High Heels,” “Didn’t You Know How Much I Loved” and “Tough.”

Most recently, Pickler was named by the United Service Organizations (USO) as one of their 2021 USO Global Ambassadors. Over the course of her appointment last year, she supported their Give More Than Thanks initiative, encouraging Americans to show solidarity and gratitude for the servicemen and women’s sacrifice.

In December, the North Carolina native also hosted the Circle Network’s first-ever Opry Live: USO Holiday Special broadcast. An ardent supporter of the U.S. military, Pickler has completed a whopping total of 12 USO tours to date.
