Deepak Chopra Partners with Immersive Van Gogh for New Meditation Series

On September 29, 2021, Deepak Chopra and the Immersive Van Gogh Exhibit in Los Angeles hosted a guided meditation event to launch their new partnership.

The night included a welcome reception, discussion and several guided meditations within the Immersive Van Gogh Exhibit in Hollywood.

The new partnership will bring awareness to mental health illnesses through custom meditations at Immersive Van Gogh exhibits throughout the country. Evidence suggested that artist Vincent van Gogh suffered from depression and other chronic mental illnesses eventually leading to his suicide. After guests enjoyed custom mocktails and appetizers during a reception held within the main bar area of Immersive Van Gogh Los Angeles, they were led into the main immersive Van Gogh exhibit room. Guests were provided with a Hapbee wearable device enabling them to receive electromagnetic signals, controlled via a smartphone, designed to help users feel focused, sleepy or relaxed.

Poonacha Machalah, CEO at the Chopra Foundation, introduced the evening’s panel of speakers which included Gabriella Wright, Cofounder of Never Alone, Donna Mastropasqua, Head of Social Impact at Impact Museum and Deepak Chopra.

The panel discussed the connection between meditation and improved mental health and the spiritual and health benefits of museums, paintings and other forms of art.

The evening ended with several guided meditations focused on “eyes open,” the new wave of experiential meditation and spiritual awareness. Participants were encouraged to integrate the experience of art into their meditation experience.

The new immersive meditation experiences will launch throughout the country beginning in 2022.
