Cole Swindell is the latest country star to make plans for early 2022, announcing a headlining run dubbed the Down to the Bar tour.
Featuring special guests Travis Denning and Ashley Cooke, Swindell’s trek begins February 17 in Peoria, Illinois.
With 16 dates on the schedule, the Down to the Bar Tour will hit mid-sized arenas, auditoriums and theaters all across the country. After starting in Illionis, Swindell and his partners will cruise through the Midwest and up into the Pacific Northwest, with a pair of stops in Washington at the end of February.
The tour then returns to the Southeast before then swinging up to South Dakota and Minnesota, and then over through Central New York and Pennsylvania. Swindell’s Down to the Bar Tour is scheduled to close in Hampton Beach, New Hampshire, on April 3.
“I am so excited to kick off 2022 back on the road with a headlining tour,” Swindell says of the news. “I’ve been big fans of Travis Denning and Ashley Cooke for a while now so to be able to get them for this tour is exciting. The fans are going to be in for a lot of surprises on this tour! It will be hard to top 2021, but getting this tour out there already has me excited for the new year.”
Noting his success in the past year, Swindell notched his 10th Number One hit with “Single Saturday Night,” and also topped radio charts with his previous release, 2019’s “Love You Too Late.” The Georgia native has teamed up with newcomer Lainey Wilson for his latest single, releasing the hot-blooded “Never Say Never” earlier this fall.
Swindell’s “Down Home Crew” fan club members get first crack at tickets starting tomorrow (December 7) at 10 a.m. local time, with a general on sale for most markets following on either Friday (December 10) or December 17. Check his website for further details.
