Meek Mill Alleges He Hasn’t Been Paid From Music, Says He Will Make Record Deal Public

Whew! Meek Mill was seemingly on ten late Monday afternoon. The rapper took to his official Twitter account to let off a few thoughts about the coins he makes from his music. According to Meek, he has cashed in on absolutely nothing and plans to show fans the record deal that led him there.

“I haven’t get paid from music and I don’t know how much money labels make off me,” Meek tweeted. “I need lawyers asap!!!”

That initial tweeted was deleted, but it’s unclear whether Meek was referring to Atlantic or his deal under Maybach Music Group. It also remains blurry whether Meek was speaking on his music spanning his entire career or from his latest project. As you may already know, he recently dropped an album called ‘Expensive Pain.’

Over the weekend, Meek popped out at Madison Square Garden in New York City for a show. Not only was the crowd rocking with Meek, according to Complex, he brought out a few industry friends. That list includes: “Bobby Shmurda, Lil Baby, Lil Durk, 42 Dugg, EST Gee [and] Fivio Foreign.”

Therefore, as previously stated, there are no credible reports about what prompted the label blast from Meek. Regardless, he didn’t stop there and chose to tweet what seems to be a response to suggestions from commenters.

“Ask the record label? How much have you spent on me as a artist,” Meek tweeted. “Then you ask how much have you made off me as a artist? I’m about to make my record deal public by Monday just to let the world see what these people on.”

Meek followed up for anyone was feeling doubtful about his message.

“Ima war for everything that’s mines all ruthless vibes,” he tweeted.

Another Artist Speaks Up

Shortly after posting his tweets, singer Keyshia Cole stepped into The Shade Room comment section.

“Never received a check from any record label, period. But I just thought about that the other day,” Keyshia commented. “It’s nothing wrong with Obtaining Audit Attorney’s so that you’re aware of where every dollar went. Trust me. A lot gets “Lost in the sauce.”
