Garth Brooks Announces Back-to-Back Shows at the Ryman Auditorium

Country icon Garth Brooks has announced a pair of intimate shows in the heart of Music City, adding back-to-back nights at Nashville’s famed Ryman Auditorium to his tour calendar.

Set for November 19 and 20 at the famed Mother Church of Country Music, Brooks has dubbed the shows “Just Garth, The Ryman and You” — and they figure to be quite a change of pace from his massive Stadium Tour.

Starting at 7 p.m. each night, the shows are described as stripped-down performances, free of theatrics and allowing fans to “hear stories behind the songs.” The setup is well suited to the Ryman itself, which was once a church and holds about 2,000 fans. They are currently the only shows on Brooks’ schedule, after the superstar put the remainder of his Stadium Tour on hold due to rising COVID-19 concerns, and all tickets are being sold for $250 (all fees included). Fans can purchase tickets this Friday (October 22) at 10 a.m. CT at Ticketmaster.com/GarthBrooks

The Ryman Auditorium is the most famous former home of the iconic Grand Ole Opry, and later this month Garth Brooks will also take part in another historic show with Opry and Ryman ties. On October 30, he and wife, Trisha Yearwood — along with Dustin Lynch, Darius Rucker and more — will perform during the 5,000th Saturday night broadcast of the Grand Ole Opry.

Meanwhile, the Brooks was also on hand for the recent CMT Artists of the Year special, where he helped tribute Artist of a Lifetime honoree, Randy Travis.
