Roommates, we are saddened to report that legendary entertainer Biz Markie has passed away at age 57 from long-term diabetes complications. According to TMZ, who reportedly spoke with a family source, Biz passed on Friday night at around 6:25 p.m. at a Baltimore hospital. The media source also shared that Biz had been fighting complications with Type II diabetes for “more than a year.”
