John Legend Claps Back At Michael Costello’s Claims Against Chrissy Teigen & Provides Alleged Receipts

Roommates, the never-ending drama surrounding Chrissy Teigen and Michael Costello just got an interesting new chapter, as Chrissy’s husband John Legend has officially entered the chat. Following Michael Costello’s allegations that Chrissy Teigen’s bullying caused him to contemplate suicide, John Legend took to social media to provide alleged receipts proving that Michael lied about the entire situation.

If you’ve been keeping up, you know that there was severe backlash after the resurfacing of her old tweets cyberbullying those who were underage from almost 10 years ago, Chrissy Teigen has lost partnership deals, TV appearances and more. However, just as she apologized a second time for her actions, fashion designer Michael Costello shared that he was also a victim of her cyberbullying and provided screenshots of old alleged text messages between them.

Well it didn’t take long for Chrissy’s husband John Legend to defend her—and he hoped on Twitter to post a few his receipts:

“Chrissy apologized for her public tweets, but after her apology, Mr Costello fabricated a DM exchange between them. This exchange was made up, completely fake, never happened. Receipts below:

Honestly I don’t know why anyone would fake DMs to insert themselves in this narrative, but that’s what happened.

I encourage everyone who breathlessly spread this lie to keep that same energy when they correct the record”

Shortly after, Chrissy threatened Michael with legal action if he didn’t admit to fabricating the text message exchange between them where she allegedly told him to kill himself, which is the same language she used to Courtney Stodden back in 2012.
