Jimmie Allen and Wife Expecting Baby Number Two

Jimmie Allen has a lot to celebrate these days – he’s not only a married man, but he’s also about to become a dad of three. The singer announced that his family would be expanding in a post to Instagram on Tuesday (6/8).

In his post, Allen posted a series of movie clips leading to a special announcement. The video ends with a piece of paper with the names Jimmie, Lexi, Aadyn, Naomi and Baby Allen written on it.

Allen’s wife Alexis also shared the news of her pregnancy with a maternity photo shoot and the same piece of paper with the names. Alexis’ post also shared photos of the couple’s other children posing with the glowing pregnant mother.

The Deleware native is a pro-dad and he put his knowledge to use when writing a new children’s book called My Voice is a Trumpet. “It’s very important to me that kids learn at a young age that they have a voice, and that it is powerful. It is up to us as adults to teach them to use their voice to encourage and show love,” the songwriter and soon-to-be-author said. “Being a father of two kids, I try to encourage them to be themselves and love everyone around them. I’m hoping this book inspires at least one child and they always remember their voice is a trumpet.”

Allen and Gale tied the knot on Thursday, May 27, surrounded by family and friends. Guests included Darius RuckerTyler Rich and wife Sabina Gadecki-Rich and Chuck Wicks and wife Kasi Rosa Wicks. The couple is already parents to one-year-old Naomi, while Allen is the proud dad to seven-year-old Aadyn from a previous relationship.

Allen is currently at country radio with his latest single, “Freedom Was a Highway,” featuring Brad Paisley. Previous hits include “Best Shot” and “Make Me Want To.”
