Lil Baby & Lil Durk Release The Video To ‘The Voice Of The Heroes’ (Video)

Two of the hottest rappers have been teasing a collaboration for a while, and the wait is finally over. Fans will only have to wait less than a week for Lil Durk and Lil Baby to drop their joint album ‘The Voice of the Heroes’ this Friday, June 4th. Earlier today, Baby announced on his Instagram page that his fans could pre-save the album, which will feature 18 songs. Baby made one more big announcement! He shared a snippet of the music video for the song “The Voice of the Heroes” that dropped at 3 pm EST.

The music video, which Daps directed, was shot in Baby’s hometown of Oakland City, a neighborhood in Atlanta. Both rappers bring the heat with their lyrics as they rap about their upbringing. Baby spits, “I just got two hundred for a walkthrough. I’ll still drill. High-speed chase in a Dodge Stratus, I can still peel ’em. I be tryna put on a smile for ’em, but I don’t really feel ’em. I just spent three-fifty on a Richard for the second time.” We all know Baby is big on giving back to underserved communities. While standing on the roof of a housing building, both rappers made in the rain by tossing money off the roof into the crowd.

Dirk got personal while rapping in front of the police. Durk spits, “Missed out on my kid’s life for a year, and I gotta accept it. Certain days niggas never came to my shows, and I felt neglected. Growin’ up seein’ my uncle dyin’ in his bed, that s**t made me reckless.

Pourin’ up and I ain’t never shared my meds, and I ain’t bein extra.”

So far, the video has over 880,000 views on Baby’s YouTube channel. Roommates, are yall looking forward to the album?
