Scotty McCreery Reveals Details of 2021 You Time Tour

Country favorite Scotty McCreery is planning his long-awaited return to the stage, announcing the dates and cities of his 2021 You Time Tour.

Kicking off June 18 in Fresno, Califronia, and running through fall, the headlining and support dates will find McCreery onstage at festivals, fairs, amplitheaters and even casinos, as he gets back in front of fans. The run is named after his 2020 single, “You Time,” which speaks to the focus McCreery put on family as the pandemic wore on. But now he’s ready to hit the road.

“This last year I was glad to get more ‘you time’ with my wife Gabi than ever before, as well as a lot of ‘you time’ with some of my favorite songwriters via zoom as we created new songs for the upcoming album,” McCreery admits. “And now that we’re able to tour again, I cannot wait to get back on the road and have some ‘you time’ with fans this summer. This song’s message and timing really hit home for me and I hope we keep a few things like the intention of the time we spent with others this last year as we look ahead. I, for one, will never take going to a show or playing music live for fans for granted after this last year without it.”

McCreery spent 2020 keeping his live performance skills sharp, delivering more than 100 live-stream performances — including a special show at Nashville’s famous Ryman Auditorium in December. It was the first time the historic venue had welcomed fans back, with a limited live audience.

Throughout that year away from fans, Scotty McCreery also got back into the studio, working on new music with producers Aaron Eshuis, Frank Rogers and Derek Wells. He plans to release a new album born from those sessions in the fall, and will also appear with Old Dominion as direct support on select Live from the Ballpark Tour dates.
