Kane Brown and his wife Katelyn marked a big family milestone this past weekend (May 9), celebrating the baptism of one-year-old daughter Kingsley Rose on Mother’s Day.
Sharing the endearing moment with fans on social media, Brown looked every part the proud papa. The country star dressed for the occasion in a black sweater, black pants and white shoes, while Katelyn looked stunning and composed in a floral dress and baby blue heels. But it was Kingsley who stole the show, cute as a button in a white dress, white bow and white shoes.
“We love you so much mama happy Mother’s Day,” Brown wrote, celebrating his wife on the big day.
For her part, Katelyn shared more from the day, including candid shots of Kingsley exploring the church’s pews, and a smiling photo opp taken with the church priest. Little Kingsley is clearly the center of the family’s whole world.
“Happy Mother’s Day to all the amazing mamas !!!!” Katelyn wrote. “I couldn’t have had a better weekend celebrating the baptism of Kingsley was so special ❤️ so grateful for my family.”
The country star has been open and vocal about feeling changed by his young family — even since before Kingsley arrived. He shared the touching fatherhood tribute called “For My Daughter” ahead of Kingsley’s birth, and dug deeper into his dedication to Katelyn with the passionate single, “Worship You,” which was part of his Mixtape, Vol. 1 release in 2020. Kingsley also appears in the video for “Worldwide Beautiful,” and the couple celebrated her first birthday in late October of 2020. Kane Brown has teamed up with Chris Young for the current single, “Famous Friends.”
