Last year, it was unfortunately reported that Swae Lee and Slim Jxmmi’s stepfather Floyd Sullivan Jr. was shot and killed. Authorities alleged that their younger brother, Michael Sullivan, was responsible for their father’s death. As previously reported, Michael was formally charged with first-degree murder last month, and it looks like Swae Lee is now opening up about his family’s loss on his new Snapchat series.
The first episode of Swae Lee’s series “Swae Meets World,” premiered and during the series’ debut, he talked about how hard of a year 2020 was for him and his family.
He said, “It’s something out of a movie you know. I’m still dealing with it, I don’t know how to deal with it all the way completely. It’s traumatic, but it puts like fury inside you, it put like a fire inside you. You can’t bring nobody back it’s so different.”
During the first episode, Swae Lee expressed how hard it was to lose his father, and also his younger brother who is currently sitting in jail for the murder.
As we previously reported, Michael Sullivan recieved a first-degree murder charge in Lee County, Mississippi. The indictment was reportedly decided after a grand jury heard evidence in the case back in January. Michael was arrested early last year, and is facing life in prison if convicted.
In a preview for the remainder of the season, it looks like camera’s will follow Swae Lee to his stepfather’s gravesite as he continues to mourn his tragic passing.
