#Roommates, Chet Hanks has been in the news quite a bit lately and most of the headlines he’s been making have not been good—including this latest news surrounding his former girlfriend. It has just been confirmed that Kiana Parker, ex-girlfriend of Chet Hanks, has officially filed a million-dollar lawsuit against him due to abuse claims.
@PageSix reports, weeks after their messy split went public online, Kiana Parker, the now ex-girlfriend of Chet Hanks, has hit him with a very hefty lawsuit. Kiana has filed court documents suing Chet for $1 million, alleging that he physically and verbally abused her during their relationship. Attorneys representing Kiana, say that Chet has shown “an ever-escalating pattern of domestic abuse,” during a recent press conference in Texas announcing the lawsuit.
Additionally, attorney Kevin Murray stated that “This is about violence within the confines of a relationship between a man and a woman, a man who mentally and physically and psychologically battered, Kiana Parker.” The lawsuit was filed on April 12th in Fort Bend County, detailing various incidents of alleged abuse, including that fight between the two back in January that led Kiana to file a restraining order against Chet, that was granted shortly after.
As we previously reported, Chet Hanks filed his own lawsuit against Kiana Parker for the altercation in January as well. He claims the fight started when he broke things off with her after he learned that she allegedly stole from him.
He also claims she charged thousands of dollars on his credit cards and got away with some of his property as well. He is now suing her for assault and battery, theft, and the return of the money he alleges she stole.
