Trisha Yearwood Posts ‘Real’ Selfie After Photoshoot Picture

Earlier this week, Trisha Yearwood posted a selfie on social media, sharing her excitement for the future in the caption.

“It’s Tuesday and I have a lot of exciting announcements coming up,” she wrote. “I feel hopeful about the future… it feels good to get excited again!”

In the photo, Yearwood appeared to be in full make-up and her hair was done. Her fans overwhelmingly complimented her appearance in the comments, writing things like, “Stunning!” and “true beauty inside and out.” Later that day, Yearwood posted another selfie, but this time, she wore glasses, had her hair up, and had no make-up on. The singer says she wanted to post the follow-up photo to show that she isn’t always glammed up like the previous photo may suggest.

“Thanks for all the sweet responses,” she wrote alongside the second photo. “The selfie I posted earlier was after a photo shoot, so glam goddess @goodwillglendastyle had done hair and makeup for me, I had great lighting, and a filter! It’s important for you to know that I have dream days like that, and I also have really ‘real’ days like tonight…this is me, after a hard workout with my trainer, no glam, no lighting, no filter.”

Her fans were just as complimentary in the comments of the second photo and seemed to appreciate her ability to be her true self. Brad Paisley’s wife, Kimberly Williams-Paisley, commented on the second photo, writing, “YES! This is awesome. Thank you for posting!”

The photos shared by Yearwood suggest the singer is feeling much better after contracting COVID-19 this past winter. Yearwood announced she was officially COVID negative in March. She also announced the release of her new cookbook, Trisha’s Kitchen, which is set to be released on September 38.
