A few years back, Donald Trump’s press secretary claimed that when they entered the White House following the Obamas exit, there were some not-so-nice notes left behind for them by Obama’s staff. However, Obama staffers denied those claims back in 2019. Now it looks like there may be some lead way into who really left those said notes at the White House.
Recently Dave Chappelle joined Naomi Campbell for an episode of “No Filter With Naomi,” and while the two of them were having a discussion about some of the amazing events that they have attended over the years. Dave spoke about the final event the Obamas threw in the White House before making their exit.
In the interview, Dave said, “Remember when the Trump administration moved in, they said, ‘the Obama staff left dirty notes for us in all the drawers and all the cabinets. Now, I saw this happening. I’m not going to say who did it, but it was celebrities writing all this crazy sh*t and putting them all over there.”
He continued to say that when he saw that it made the news he just laughed about the situation.
At the time, NBC News reported that some of the notes consisted of messages such as, “you will fail” and “you aren’t going to make it.”
Nonetheless, Obama’s staffers maintained their innocence when it came to those notes.
