It looks like Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak’s #LetSilkSonicThrive hashtag on social media worked out in their favor, because late Tuesday, it was announced that the duo has been added to the list of performers for this year’s Grammy Awards.
On Tuesday, Bruno and Anderson took their Grammy conversation back to Twitter as they revealed that they have yet to hear back from the Recording Academy after launching their campaign. It didn’t take too long for the Recording Academy to tweet them back and said, “We have been trying to call you all week. Have you changed your numbers? We would love for #silksonic to make their TV debut at the #GRAMMYs. Are you free this Sunday night? Follow back and we will DM for details.”

It wasn’t too long before they popped up with a new flyer that showed that Silk Sonic will be making their debut television performance during the 2021 Grammy Awards. Anderson shared the new flyer and said, “F*cked around and got top billing.”

As previously reported, Bruno and Anderson started their #LetSilkSonicThrive hashtag on Twitter in an attempt to perform during the 2021 Grammy Awards, which take place on March 14th. The performance lineup for the award show was announced a few days after Silk Sonic (Bruno & Anderson) released their debut single, “Leave The Door Open.”
Both Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak are already Grammy Award-winning artists.
