This season of NBC’s The Voice is gearing up to be the biggest and best yet. Beginning Monday, March 1, the show will begin its 10th year of competition and highlight an incredible group of talented individuals. With season 20 beginning in less than a week, NBC is giving fans a look at what to expect from the upcoming season and coaches Blake Shelton, John Legend, Kelly Clarkson and Nick Jonas.
“I think that The Voice has evolved in small ways over the last 10 years, but at the end of the day, it still is what it started out to be, which is a show that is about talent first,” said coach Blake Shelton, the most-winning coach of the series and the only one to appear on every single season.
“Every year, we get the chance to be amazed by new artists that we’ve never heard before,” added Legend.
The trailer not only shows off bits and pieces of incredible auditions, but also the high-jinx the coaches get into trying to recruit for their teams. This season, Clarkson will continue to offer up Team Kelly jackets, while Nick Jonas offers up his own “Nick’s Notes.” Legend will write personalized songs those joining his team, while Shelton offers up a bobblehead in his likeness.
The season will also feature a list of incredible team mentors. Joining team Shelton will be Dan + Shay, on Team Kelly is Luis Fonsi, Team Legend will be Brandy and Team Nick is Darren Criss.
Season 19 of The Voice wrapped in December 2020 with 14-year-old Carter Rubin of Team Gwen Stefani winning the title.
The Voice premieres Monday, March 1 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on NBC.
