Beyoncé’s ‘BeyGOOD’ Foundation Partners With Adidas To Provide Relief For Those Impacted By Winter Storms

Roomies Beyoncé’s BeyGOOD Foundation and Adidas are working with Houston organization Bread Of Life Inc. to provide urgent relief to those suffering due to the winter storms. According to Bread Of Life’s website it states, they work in close partnership with Beyoncé’s BeyGOOD foundation. Together, Beyonce, Tina Knowles-Lawson, and Bread of Life, Inc. have coordinated domestic and global anti-hunger initiatives and provided support to natural disaster victims.

The Disaster Relief Assistance Fund is a program offering one-time financial assistance to those who have experienced a non-recurring, sudden or emergency-related financial hardship due to an unforeseen or unavoidable event. The Fund is not designed to address ongoing financial challenges and is not a loan requiring reimbursement. Residents in Texas and the surrounding states affected by the storms can apply through Beyonce.com.

When it comes back to supporting individuals, Beyoncé has been helping the Houston community and beyond. BeyGOOD has assisted those in need by providing basic needs like food, water, household supplies, and COVID-19 testing throughout Houston. In addition to providing mental health support. We reported last year in December, they also launched the ‘BeyGOOD Small Business Impact Fund,’ which donated $10,000 grants to 250 small businesses. BeyGOOD announced on December 22nd that they would continue to help those in need by donating $500,000 to people losing their homes due to eviction after the housing moratorium expires on December 26th.

In a statement released on BeyGOOD’s website, it stated, “Beyoncé is continuing her heart of support and helping where needed most. Phase Two of the BeyGOOD Impact Fund will now help those impacted by the housing crisis. The housing moratorium is set to end on December 26th, resulting in mortgage foreclosures and rental evictions.”

Many Roommates were pleased to see Beyonce continue to help those in need. One commented, “Can she replace Ted Cruz in government, asking for blacks cuz we tireeeeeeed.”
