It’s not every day that a legend lists her $2.1 million Manhattan pied-a-terre, so when British icon Dame Joan Collins does it, we pay attention. Though the famed star once owned four homes, which makes sense for a globe-trotting star, she has been off-loading them over the past few years, choosing to settle down in London (with summers in Saint-Tropez and the South of France, obviously).
Never one for subtlety, Collins’ New York apartment in the Dorchester in Midtown Manhattan is actually a combination of three units in a white glove co-op only a few blocks to Central Park, fine dining, and shops. She and her fifth-husband, film-producer Percy Gibson, purchased the home in 2002, when they were first married. Open, airy, and perfectly sunny, apparently one of Collins’ favorite things about the condo is its 16 closets. Built in 1957, the sprawling unit also has two master suites in separate wings and a third guest bedroom.
Priced at $2.095 million, Joan’s condo is listed by Carolyn Weiner-Trapness, Brown Harris Stevens’ Broadway office, New York City.
