The Bobby Bones-Caitlin Parker family is growing by one with the addition of a new dog over the holiday season.
The couple introduced the cute canine to the world via Instagram, letting fans know they went to a local non-profit in Nashville called Wags and Walks to bring their good girl home. They also revealed her sweet name, selected by Parker after one of her favorite plays.
“Meet Eller Bones. Named after one of my favorite characters, Aunt Eller, from the musical OKLAHOMA! She is feisty and big brother @mr.stanleybones doesn’t know what to think,” she said in the caption on the post.
Parker explained that they think Eller is a mix between an Australian Shepherd, husky and cattle dog, which will fit right in with Stanley, who is a bulldog.
Some country music friends commented on the big dog news, with Abby Smyers giving the couple a big “Yay!!!!” and Summer Pardi writing, “Ommmgggggg.”
Bones and Parker have been quite the couple of the year, falling madly in love before getting engaged in mid-October. They got together after meeting in Los Angeles as Bones visited Lauren Alaina on the set of Dancing with the Stars and Parker happened to be on set as well to visit her friend who worked in public relations for ABC.
